To join and destroy.

Has any other person noticed how Nigerians loooovveee to destroy anything new or 'cool'... They just take it and wreck it beyond recognition! Now I have too many examples, I'll start with the old ones and then work my way up the latest and most frustrating one..

Ahh, remember that place?? Lol. Exactly!! I distinctly remember the first time I went to s.bird. It was a children's day not long after it opened. I remember clearly cos I badly wanted to go to Ikoyi club but my siblings had grown out of the ikoyi club children's party phase :( .. Needless to say, I was really sad and determined to make that day a living hell for my brother and sister in their 'useless silverbird'. But when I got there I realised that maybe Ikoyi club was getting a bit old.. We fell in love with the place and so did many other kids/teens. It was something new and exciting and in all, the coolest hang out spot.... Now fast forward a couple of years and reductions in movie tickets and all. The place has become like yaba market!! I can't stand it anymore. Everyone and anyone goes there. In fact I can't even go on anymore.. It saddens me..

Nigerians and the word fams... Do I really need to go into this? Sigh.

And the list goes on and on.. Now on the latest and most annoying one yet.. 

Nigerians and twitter
Oh my daze!!! Words cannot express how much this grinds my gears!! It seems to me that the purpose of twitter has been lost. Some people have taken on twitter as a full time job! They want to have the most tweets (they end up tweeting utter BS and then saying, 'its my twitter I can say what ever I like'. Say whatever you like, pls just don't tweet the letters of the alphabet or numbers! Are you fucking retarded!?!), they want the most followers( I cannot count the number of pls follow me on twitter broadcasts I've gotten. The other day I got this reeeaallyy annoying group msg on fbk, apparently it was for ppl to circulate their twitter handles.. I was like wooww!! This shit is real). The most ridiculous one yet is how personal ppl take it when they don't get a follow back or someone unfollows them.. I meaann!! Its only twitter! Its not a heart attack pllss its not that serious -_-
Anyway, the point of all this is, ppl pleassee do not be sucked too deep into this twitter thing! Being a cyber slut to get more followers or being anything that's far from what you really are never pays in real life. Watch what you say on there and remember the life you once had before twitter!
